First Hang Packing List

If you are a newbie hammocker, welcome! If you are a seasoned hammocker, also welcome! This packing list is for everyone, but will be especially helpful for those first timers out there. Before we get to the packing list there are some things we think you should know. 

We have some awesome videos all about how to hang your Hobo Hammock on our site, here. We’ve also written a post with everything you need to know, here. Luckily, included in your Hobo Hammock purchase is a diagram which explains how to tie your hammock knot. Make sure you bring that along. It looks like this. 

Comfort is different for everyone, but there are a few tricks to get the most comfortable in your hammock. We put them all together in a post we wrote, here. Don’t expect to get your set-up perfect on the first hang! Learning what works best for you is all part of the fun.

Onto the good stuff! There are a few things you will need no matter the temperature, or weather conditions. 

Next, there are some things you should consider bringing depending on the weather conditions you will be experiencing.
